The Versailles estate is running an adoption campaign for the topiaries in the South Parterre.

The shrubs pruned into topiaries are yews, conifers particularly appreciated by art gardeners for their solid wood and evergreen foliage.
By adopting a topiary from the South Parterre or contributing to the crowdfunding campaign, you are helping to preserve these plants, which have been present in the gardens of the Palace of Versailles since the 17th century.
